Instructions For Authors - Innovation Through Knowledge Transfer 2014
Call for Papers
Contributions are invited on subjects within the Conference Scope and also on other relevant subjects.
Submitted papers must be of high quality, original and not published elsewhere or submitted for publication during the review period.
Papers will be reviewed by members of the International Programme Committee and depending on their standard, attributes, and reviewer recommendations, may be selected for oral or poster presentation, and publication in an appropriate medium.
The conference proceedings will be published in the open access journal InImpact: The Journal of Innovation Impact, ISSN 2051-6002, and in a book "Innovation through Knowledge Transfer" published in the KES Transactions series.
Full Papers
Full papers may be submitted on topics relevant to the conference, for consideration for inclusion in the conference proceedings, following peer-review by expert referees.
Complete, full-length papers (not abstracts) must be provided for review.
The guide length for Full Papers is eight to 12 pages (approx. 4000-6000 words). Longer papers may incur an additional charge. Papers much shorter than the guide length should be submitted as Short Papers.
Short Papers
Authors may choose to submit a contribution for presentation without the submission of a full paper.
In this case, a Short Paper in the form of an abstract, guide-length one to four pages, summarising the subject and content of the talk, should be submitted, to appear in the proceedings if accepted.
Papers on KTP Case Studies
InnovationKT-14 will feature a special session on papers describing Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) projects between companies and universities, colleges and other knowledge base partners.
Papers for publication must be of high quality, original and not published elsewhere or submitted for publication during the review period. The article should describe the aims of the project, the way it was carried out, and the benefits obtained (or anticipated) by the three partners (including the KTP associate). There should also be a clear description of the knowledge transfer process and how it facilitated innovation.
